The company is named in honour of the late George William Boorman, a distinguished professional engineer whose career was marked by excellence in civil engineering and building envelope design. His technical expertise, leadership, and dedication to the integrity of the built environment continue to inspire the values and vision of our team. Mr. Boorman was widely regarded as an authority in construction sequencing, constructability, and the long-term durability of assemblies. In his role as Design Professional, he led the civil engineering components of numerous major projects, contributing his insight across all stages of development—including site planning, material and method selection, program analysis, and the coordination of multidisciplinary consultant teams. In 2010 George partnered with his son Nicholas in a life safety business venture that was ultimately set aside after George's unexpected passing in May of 2021. G.
